In the same space where Café Ollo (The Media Centre) is hosting Ryoko Akama’s solo exhibition “Composition of Happiness”, the media centre and ame invites internationally acclaimed sound artists and musicians to present exciting performance events.
This event is presented in association with HCMF. The event happens between the festival’s concerts, so you don’t miss out anything, but will see everything!

GERARD LEBIK (Poland)

Gerard Lebik is a musician and sound artist living in Wroclaw, Poland, working with improvised, experimental, and intermedia music. He creates by improvisation, musical notation, or through direct manipulation of sonic materials, using electronic and acoustic media. He is an author of sound installations and sound interventions in public spaces, and graduated from Wroclaw Academy of Music in 2007.

BEN GWILLIAM (UK)

Ben Gwilliam is an artist whose work spans sound, film, installation & performance. His work explores how the mechanics of sound media reflect & distort human perception, often manipulating the space(s) & moment of experience. His fascination drives a curiosity that forms as durational performances and installations, film & video works and writing.
