The publication include photography and reflections from our favourite people – Andrew Wilson, Liz Dobson, Julia Eckardt and Glenn Boutler. We thank all those who have been involved – technicians, volunteers, curators, sound artists, composers and musicians.

….. ame can mean either “candy” or “rain” in the Japanese language, a name playfully crystalizing initial impressions of Yorkshire, while also being the acronym “art music experimental”. ame strikes a balance – by acknowledging gender and cultural issues, but also between international and national participation, and academic and non-academic viewpoints, hoping in this way to disseminate a more widely informed view of current experimental sound work…..
