UNspellable – a new concert series 2019/20
UNspellable 
is a new concert series promoted by ame, taking place around Huddersfield in 2019/20. Both UK based and international artists are programmed, presenting a wide range of infinitely fascinating but awkwardly unclassifiable music – including improvisation, contemporary composition, electronic, sound art, and electro-pop.
Season 1 of UNspellable introduces four evenings with outstanding performers from Japan + UK-based musicians.

Kicking off UNspellable with two duos from Tokyo! Guitar legend Sugimoto appears with regular collaborator Saeki, while this is a first UK tour for Kitamura & mmm, bringing modern-day electronica from Japan.

Innovative experimental musician Nakamura is back in the UK, reuniting a remarkable group first encountered in Tokyo 2017. Plus multi-layered melodies and gentle noisiness, with bass and effects from redvirginsoil.

ASUNA + Minoru Sato
Caravan Comedown
Celebrating their new 7inch vinyl TOTTERING STEPS on Belgium label Meeuw Muzak, Sato and ASUNA is back to Huddersfield with their original DIY gadget, air column resonator and keyboards. The evening starts with Caravan Comedown, the trio of Adam Davenport, Sophie Cooper and Neil Campbell, delivering new music of song and improvisation.
Season 02 and 03 will be curated by Another Timbre and Andie Brown in 2020
