Ecka Mordecai is an artist based in Manchester (UK) who works with performance, sound and the cello. She has training in sound art, performance art, composition and improvisation and has worked and collaborated with: David Toop and Rie Nakajima, Andrew Chalk and Tom Scott, Thurston Moore, Sam Weaver, Kate Armitage, David Birchall. She has performed at Hepworth Gallery, White Cube (Bermondsey), Islington Mill, Fort Process (Newhaven). She is based at Islington Mill and is the art director for Cuspeditions record label.
