light.box ‘The Undanced Dance’ available from Bandcamp

For their third album, and first release on Bead, light.box expands from the duo of Alex Bonney (trumpet, electronics) and Pierre Alexandre Tremblay (bass guitar, electronics) to a trio adding the highly inventive Norwegian improv drummer Emil Karlsen. The music moves into ever more sonically expansive territory: dark ambient drone with fractured grooves meets gestural improv, gritty noise corrupts epic electronica.

Charlotte Roe, an interdisciplinary digital artist based in Huddersfield, will be premiering her new work! She is Interested in data sonification, generative art and digital tactility she is currently exploring live coding as a means of creating A/V performances.
