Monthly ‘FLOAT’ meetup for people who identify as queer and/or as belonging to a marginalised gender, interested in creative technology. This could be creative coding, web design, digital art, game development, electronic/digital music or something else we haven’t thought of!

Free entry, drinks and snacks provided, come meet other artists/creatives/technologists in a friendly, casual environment.

This month’s meetup will include a presentation and discussion with artist and developer Charlotte Roe about the topic of her MA by Research project – ‘Sound Artist as Critical-Technical User’. Roe will discuss her ideas for developing a sound art practice around process exposition, data sonification, and technology ‘mis-use’.
