MUTE BEAT, JAGATARA, IMAWANO Kiyoshiro, EGO-WRAPPIN’, Kicell… these are just a few of the acts keyboardist Emerson Kitamura has been a part of since the late 80’s.  Then there is mmm (pronouced me-my-mo) who, after spending her youth in Singapore and California, nurtured her underground-yet-dense career as a singer and a multi-instrumentalist since 2009.  They had met and played together in 2016 at a show organized by mutual friends, and this coincidence seemed almost destined as they found gradually that they open each others’ doors of expression which they had not known they had within.
They’re always jugging several projects that they run and support, but as a duo they create a sound that laps over your ears and seeps through your veins.  This is their first EU tour as a duo, supporting their first album “Chasing Giants” just released in October 2019.
