Following their amexperimental attic residency earlier this month, Joe Christman will be showcasing an improvised live performance on test equipment modular, exploring creative limitation and types of feedback. It will be a night of contrast with moments of ambience and others pounding with rhythm.
Joe Christman (they/them) is an electronic ambient musician and live sound technician.
With a dynamic focus on installations, they have created and co-ordinated a variety of pieces, each taking a carefully considered approach with an eye to the obsolete. ‘Artefacts’ is Joe’s most recent installation, featured in the 2022 ‘Electric Spring’ festival at the University of Huddersfield .
They live and work in West Yorkshire.
