Join Fanny for an introduction to Deep Listening ® in the lineage of Pauline Oliveros.
During each session, Fanny will engage participants using Qigong, Tai Chi, indivividual journaling, dream-work and improvisational invitations, to work towards ‘preformances’ of Deep Listening Scores/prompts.

No previous experience of Deep Listening is necessary — simply a willingness to listen and improvise collectively. Workshops are open to all bodies, and movement/listening invitations will be tailored accordingly; we do not have funding for additional access/disability support at this time, but anyone who needs to is welcome to bring a carer/p.a/translator.

Please note that these workshops will not be open to an audience; prior registration is required in order to secure attendance, and participation is key. Our Deep Listening ® circles at ame are offered to participants for free, and form part of a practitioner portfolio; audio/visual recording and/or still photography may take place during these sessions — please let Fanny know if you would prefer not to be featured in these, via email.

Fanny Pogson is interdisciplinary artist, educator and 360° Doula based in Yorkshire, UK. Her personal practice focuses on everyday environments and bodies as sounding, recording and listening devices, employing a wide range of modalities to create, interpret and present both individual and collective memoir.
